(a) A family day-care use shall be permitted when authorized by the Zoning Hearing Board as a special exception.
(b) Prior to the final approval of the use by the Zoning Hearing Board and the issuing of a permit by the Zoning Officer, the applicant must obtain a registration certificate from the Department of Public Welfare, Office of Child Development and Early Learning.

See § 500-2408B(4) for more information on family day-care facilities.
